BroncoMail
Description
BroncoMail is the University’s student email system, and is powered by Google Apps for Education. BroncoMail email addresses are formatted as username@u.boisestate.edu.
All students are given BroncoMail email accounts upon admission to the University.
Access
Log in to BroncoMail by pointing your web browser to broncomail.u.boisestate.edu.
Passwords
Your BroncoMail password is the same as your BroncoWeb password, and as such expires every 90 days. To reset your BroncoMail password, visit the BroncoWeb website.
Google Apps for Employees
Description
Google Apps for Employees is a suite of web-based collaboration tools, including email, chat, calendaring, cloud file storage and synchronization, word processing, spreadsheets, wikis (team websites), and more.
Google Apps for Employees email addresses are formatted as username@boisestate.edu.
Access
Log in to Google Apps by pointing your web browser to apps.boisestate.edu.
Passwords
Your Google Apps login password is identical to your BroncoWeb password. To reset this password, see our Password Change page.

Institutional Messaging Policies and Guidelines
Description
Information deemed as “should know” for all University employees must be sent to the Office of Communications and Marketing.
The Office of Communications and Marketing will assist senders in determining the best method of dissemination.

BroncoMail Institutional Messaging
Information deemed as “should know” for more than 50 students must be delivered through the Office of the Vice-President for Student Affairs.
