How to Reset Your BroncoMail Password on Mobile Devices

BroncoMailMost mobile devices will prompt to re-enter your password if the device cannot authenticate to your BroncoMail account. Entering your Boise State password should allow your device to sync with BroncoMail.

You may also need to clear the captcha for your BroncoMail account (don’t use your full email address for the username on the captcha screen) before you can access your account on a mobile device.

If you don’t receive a prompt to re-enter your password, the following are instructions for resetting the password on popular mobile devices, as well as Outlook and OS X Mail:

Mobile Devices

iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad

1. Go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. Under Accounts, select your BroncoMail account
3. Go to Account Info
4. Enter your Boise State password in the “Password” field

Android

Android phones should prompt for your Boise State password when the Mail application is opened.

Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 devices should prompt for your Boise State password when device attempts to connect and cannot due to a password issue.


Email Programs

Outlook 2007

1. Go to Tools -> Account Settings
2. Under the Email tab, select your BroncoMail account and press the Change button
3. Enter your Boise State password in the “Password” field

Outlook 2010

1. Go to File -> Account Settings
2. Under the Email tab, select your BroncoMail account and press the Change button
3. Enter your Boise State password in the “Password” field

OS X Mail

1. Open a Finder window, then go to Mail -> Preferences
2. Under Accounts, select your BroncoMail account
3. Enter your BroncoMail password in the “Password” field
