Hardware Services
Computer, Printer, and Peripheral Orders
Per the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration, all University computer orders (including iPads and other tablet devices) must be submitted through the OIT Help Desk via Help Desk Self Service.
OIT Business Services will place orders and charge to a P-Card, or submit a Purchase Order.
The OIT Help Desk can assist you with configuring your order, or answering any questions you may have about ordering and configuring a computer to fit your business needs.
Computer Repair
The OIT Help Desk retains staff authorized for Dell and Apple repairs on University owned equipment.
Repairs for other equipment can be facilitated through OIT through our regional vendor representative contacts.

Mobile Devices
The OIT Help Desk supports mobile device connectivity with Google Apps for Employees and BroncoMail.

Printers / Copiers
The Help Desk can recommend printers, copiers and multifunction devices for your office needs, and is also available to attend meetings a department sets up with state approved vendors. The Help Desk will also install and facilitate network connectivity.

Kiosk Computers
Kiosk computers can be configured by the OIT Help Desk to operate as public general use devices.
Via special configuration, kiosk computers can be set to allow limited, non-destructive access based on your department’s needs.
Data Recovery
Data recovery is the process of salvaging data from damaged, failed, corrupted, or inaccessible storage devices when that data cannot be accessed normally.
The OIT Help Desk has basic tools to help recover and salvage data.
Salvage
Are your old computers piling up? Contact the Help Desk to request equipment pickup for salvaging.
The Help Desk will perform a secure data wipe on all computer hard drives to ensure the privacy and security of University data.
Department Computer Moves
Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance moves computers and other equipment. OIT can assist with disconnecting and reconnecting computer equipment, and evaluate new site locations for any additional work required by Telephone and Network Services.
