OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

(208) 426-1433

Information technology refers to an array of products and services that collect, transform, transmit, present and otherwise make data into usable, meaningful and accessible information. This technology provides limitless opportunities to explore and share thoughts, feelings, concepts and ideas.

Although information technologies can provide limitless opportunities, the University's ability to acquire, implement and manage such technologies is not limitless. As a result, there exists the need to carefully and often collaboratively manage the University's strategic technology initiatives and objectives.

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has responsibility for the University's mission critical applications of print, voice and data technologies and the University's network infrastructure.

Our Mission
