Blackboard
Blackboard consists of web-based tools for creating and managing educational content, encouraging student interaction and knowledge sharing, and creation and deployment of tests, quizzes and assignments.
You can authenticate to Blackboard using your BroncoWeb username and password.
Blackboard support is provided through the Help Desk and Academic Technologies. For assistance, contact the Help Desk at 426-4357, or email helpdesk@boisestate.edu.

BroncoWeb
BroncoWeb is the University’s web-based application suite for class registration, scheduling, student accounts, personnel data, employee information, and more.
- Employees: BroncoWeb provides access to paycheck and leave information, direct deposit, W-4 forms, benefits, and personal information.
- Faculty/Staff/Advisors: BroncoWeb provides access to teaching schedules, class rosters, course permissions numbers, and general student information.
- Campus Community: BroncoWeb provides access to the University’s course catalog and class schedules.

Document Imaging – Nolij
Nolij is used amongst several University departments for electronic document imaging, data integration and forms processing.
Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence
Boise State’s data warehouse, developed and maintained by Institutional Analysis, Asessment and Reporting, provides a way for users to see summary data on students and courses.
PeopleSoft FCM (Financial Capital Management)
PeopleSoft Finance is the University’s financial administration system, and includes asset management, accounts payable, purchasing, and Travel and Expense.
PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management)
PeopleSoft HRCS, also known as PeopleSoft Back Office, is the University’s human resources, payroll, and student services administration system, as well as the Time and Labor employee time and leave reporting system.
Survey Software – Qualtrics
Qualtrics survey software is available to support teaching, research and administration at the University. Qualtrics features include:
- easy built-in “wizards” to create surveys
- sample surveys on various topics for your customization
- integrated sending and tracking of email invitations
- integrated graphics and statistical tools
- ability to export data to Excel or SPSS with full syntax
Information on how to obtain a Qualtrics account and use the Qualtrics system is available through Academic Technologies.
STAT
STAT is change management software for the University’s PeopleSoft administrative systems. Accounts can be requested through PeopleSoft data stewards.
uPay
uPay, part of the TouchNet Marketplace Suite, is a web-based payment system for students administered by the Office of Student Financials. Requests for uPay support issues or account access should be routed through the OIT Help Desk.
WordPress
WordPress is site management software that eases the process of website content publishing and administration, allowing people with little or no knowledge of HTML to contribute and edit information online.
