OIT Business Services

OIT Business ServicesOIT Business Services provides billing services for printing & graphics, mail services, telephone, computer hardware repair, web development charges and other IT Services to University departments.

(800) numbers, off campus telephone lines, and cell phones may also be obtained through OIT Business Services.

OIT Business Services operates the University’s switchboard and maintains employee and local area telephone directories and telephone databases.


Billing Research

OIT Business offers billing research for a fee of $36.00 per hour, billable in 1/4 hour increments. The billing research fee applies for any requests for research older than 90 days.

This fee applies to requests for materials such as copies of non-current customer toll statements, or prior service unit billings; investigations of non-current information on service until billings or billable repairs; and requests for other documentation or historical records.

This fee does not apply to normal, day-to-day customer billing services.

Directory Changes

Information is used for the University online directory available at https://directory.boisestate.edu. Your e-mail address, office telephone, fax number, and name are also published in the online State of Idaho Government Directory.

Department ID or Grant Number Changes for Service Charges

Requests to change of department ID or grant number for your department’s billable services are submitted to OIT Business Services.

Internet Services Reimbursement Request

Reimbursements for home-based high-speed Internet services must be for University business with only incidental personal use. Reimbursements are a taxable benefit per IRS regulations.
