2016 Bronco Appathon

The 2016 Bronco Appathon was held March 4-6, 2016 on the Boise State campus. Several teams of students participated to develop mobile apps during the weekend coding marathon.

The overall quality of apps was the best ever this year, with Team Bion taking home $750 per team member by winning both First Prize and Best Design awards for their relaxation app, “Lilt.” Members of Team Bion are enrolled in the Gaming, Interactive Media & Mobile Technology program in the College of Innovation & Design.

We want to give special thanks to Karen Toon for all of her hard work putting this event together. And, thank you to all of our sponsors for their generosity to allow us to continue to offer the Bronco Appathon year after year!
