Cell phones/wireless devices may be purchased at reduced rates for employees. In addition, organizations may choose to grant a monthly allowance for employee cell phone use.
Boise State University, through State of Idaho contracts, currently has working relationships with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, allowing employees to purchase mobile communications devices and rate plans at reduced prices.
Employees may purchase devices and plans for personal use, or a combination of business and personal use. See Cell Phone Rate Plan details for additional info.
Employees who use a wireless device for Boise State business may qualify for a monthly allowance. To apply for a monthly allowance, please fill out a Mobile Communication Device Agreement.
The login is the same as your Boise State username and password.

If you currently possess a University-owned cell phone and wish to transfer your University cell phone number to a personal cell phone account, you must work with OIT Business Services to complete this transfer.
You also need to fill out a Department Cell Phone Agreement.

Boise State University may only port and/or release financial responsibility of cell phone numbers to personal wireless accounts established with State of Idaho WSCA contracted providers. Boise State University cannot guarantee the services or products of third party wireless providers, such as All Cellular and Cellular One.
Departments need to use a “Call Log” to track business use for mobile devices. For an example of a Call Log, view the following in PDF format: Call Log Example.
If you are currently utilizing a University-owned cell phone, please do not attempt to make any changes to your cell phone service prior to consulting OIT Business Services at 208-426-1433.
Unauthorized changes may result in significant wireless service fees for which the University will not be held responsible.
