Voicemail

Boise State University uses the Cisco Unity Voicemail system. Voicemail accounts are created with new phone orders for individual faculty and staff unless otherwise specified.

For new phone orders for department-wide or shared usage, voicemail accounts must be specifically requested via Help Desk Self Service.

  • From your University telephone (your own extension), dial 6-5999 or press the Messages button on your phone set. You will be prompted to enter your PIN (password).
  • The default PIN is 12345 for new voicemail accounts.
  • Follow the voice prompts to set up your voicemail account.
  • For info on how to use voicemail, view a printable PDF voicemail guide.
