Boise State can record a video conference with advance notice from the conference room scheduler. Two business days of lead time are needed for testing of connections for a conference or class.
ZOOM is a cloud based video and desktop conferencing solution. It is a very stable platform, with no video or audio latency that allows for connections with H.323 video conferencing hardware. ZOOM allows 50 participants in a hosted conference. Another important feature is that remote users do not need a ZOOM account, all they need is an internet enabled device with a browser. ZOOM offers intuitive meeting management and control, Google calendar integration, and the ability to record a conference and store it locally in the MP4 file format.
Licensing is provided per individual (“Named Host”). A Named Host license may not be shared or used by anyone other than the individual licensed to be a Named Host.
